Viknes

Eind jaren tachtig kwam Viknes op de markt met de Viknes 770. Een eigenzinnig en zeewaardig schip zoals we dat van een Noorse kwaliteitswerf kunnen verwachten. Het was het begin van een lange reeks succesvolle modellen. De Viknes schepen zijn bijzonder gelijnd en uitzonderlijk sterk gebouwd waardoor varen op open zee geen enkel probleem is. Na een stabiele groeiperiode werd de werf opgeschrikt door een grote brand in het jaar 2000. Een jaar later stond er een nieuwe productiehal en startte Viknes met een nieuwe modellenreeks. In 2012 werd de Viknes 930 “Powerboat of the year”.

Momenteel is Viknes een van de grootste jachtbouwers van Noorwegen. Alle Viknes schepen worden door de Noorse certificerings instantie “Norske Veritas” goedgekeurd onder CE ontwerpcategorie B. Viknes bouwt niet alleen de bekende Viknes modellen maar produceert sinds jaren ook de prachtige modellen van Skilsø. Viknes 8

De VIKNES 8 is de nieuwste aanwinst in de Viknes rij van succesmodellen. Dit nieuwe model is gericht op de vissers en de mensen die een grote ruime kuip pretenderen. Deze 2 persoons boot bij uitstek is geschikt voor alle weerstypen door de kwaliteitsbouw die hoort bij de Noorse botenbouwers. De kwaliteit druipt er vanaf, dit is te zien aan zowel de buitenzijde als ook het intereur van de modellen die ze op de Viknes werf produceren. De Viknes 8 is het kleinste model en is met zijn krachtige Yanmar 250pk motor een pittige boot met kracht en uithoudingsvermogen. De normale uitvoering heeft voldoende luxe die men verwacht bij een boot als deze. Uiteraard zijn er menig opties bij te kiezen om deze polyester krachtpatser compleet eigen te maken!
